This creates nothing but sibling rivalry and even creates a long distance between parents and children. Despite the fact that two children have no problem with each other in the initial stages, you are making them enemies for life. This should never be done. You, as a parent, need to understand the fact that every one of us is unique in his own ways and there cannot be any comparisons between two different personalities. If your child has a weakness, accept it and make every possible effort to ensure that things are corrected before they go out of hand. This will help you win his trust, faith, and respect in you.

There are many occasions when a distinction is being made between a male child and a female child. It is important for you to realize that this is not only absurd but also unlawful. You cannot do things like that to your own child, who see an idol in you. This will erode the respect he or she has for you besides creating a void between parent-child relationships. If you are doing or scolding your child for these issues, it is essential that you need to have urgent second thoughts.

You need to understand that your child always needs your attention. If you fail to give him this attention, you cannot shift the blame by acting harsh to him. Be calm and respect your child if you want him to reciprocate respect, love, and affection.
